So many of us had elaborate dreams of what 2020 would look like. We geared up mentally, grabbed a pen and paper, and manifested our short-term and long-term goals that we were certain would be accomplished in the upcoming year. For many of us, it didn’t exactly turn out the way we expected. Perhaps the most beautiful and frustrating thing about life is that it is fluid. It is ever-changing and the opposite of predictable. As forces beyond our control seemingly disrupt our “boss” plans, it is important to remember that there’s far more that goes into being a “boss” than factors controlled by the outside world. Job promotions, budding entrepreneurial success, and excelling in academia are great feats, however in this time that we have been gifted, it is key to “boss” up in the areas that we can completely control.
Being a “boss” extends far beyond our professional lives, and in this series, we’ll begin laying the framework to invest in the areas that will build us into being complete bosses of our lives.
Throughout this challenge, we will be making strides based around five critical, life-changing intentions:
1. Committing to a better future/working towards a better you
2. Building the ability to adapt in changing times
3. Prioritizing yourself
4. Shaping the world around you to create your dream world
5. Setting goals and keeping promises to yourself
You absolutely can have it all, and that’s why, for the rest of this year, we’re focusing on building the skills to make it possible. Are you ready to embark on this journey towards the life of which you’ve been dreaming?
